30 Paintings in 30 Days! Day 1

I am one of many artists participating in the Leslie Saeta 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge. This is the first painting/art challenge I have ever taken part in. I'm very excited and nervous. I have been painting more frequently over the past year, but certainly not every day! I'm excited to connect with more artists, and to develop my painting practice. I will be painting on 30 12"x12" canvases. I'm attempting to create a body of work with a similar visual vocabulary, that alone will be challenging because I tend to lose focus and give in to my desire to experiment with my markmaking. Here is the first painting!
